About the Clinics
Light Sports is providing multiple baseball clinics at Playmakers focusing on hitting, fielding, catching, pitching, speed/agility and the mental approach to the game for multiple age groups.
Clinics will be run by Coach Mark Salazar. Mark was ranked as a top 100 player in the nation in 1997 by Baseball America. He turned down the 3rd round of the MLB draft to the Houston Astros and took a full scholarship to Long Beach State where he was a pre-season All American as a freshman. Mark has been coaching for the last 24 years leading high school teams to State and Southern Section Championships in California. He has coached at the collegiate level and managed Light Baseball, a travel baseball program in San Diego for 4 years.
We will have a 4:1 camper/coach ratio.
Baseball clinics will include a 10 minute Bible study at each workout.
